AGEING BRUISES

Expert opinion on the age of a bruise is as spurious in children as in adults. Another British team reported[1] on the blind assessment of colour photographs of pediatric accidental bruises of known age. Red-blue-purple, green then yellow may be the sequence, but there was no meaningful correlation between age and colour.
